What's the difference between 1, 3, 6 and 12 months?
Mostly? How much happy mail you want.
1 Month — $11
Want to try it out? Start here. No commitment, no auto-renewal.
3 Months — $33
Three months of happy mail. A little more mailbox magic to look forward to.
6 Months — $60
Six months of happy mail at a better monthly price. Basically, you've made joy a habit.
12 Months — $105
The best value and a whole year of happy mail. At this point, we're basically family.
The 3, 6 and 12-month plans automatically renew, but you can cancel anytime.
Does it automatically renew?
Only the 3, 6 and 12-month subscriptions auto-renew. Gift subscriptions and 1-month does not auto-renew.
Can I give Post & Pencil as a gift?
Absolutely. And honestly, it's a pretty great gift.
You can gift a 1, 3, 6 or 12-month subscription, and you can include a gift message.
The best part? The recipient doesn't have to do a thing.
Gift subscriptions do not auto-renew. It will end at the end of the purchased term.
When will I be charged?
For our 3, 6, and 12-month subscriptions, you’ll be automatically charged each month for the duration of your subscription.
For example, if you purchase your subscription on April 5, your next payment will be charged on May 5, followed by June 5, and so on until your subscription term is complete, or you cancel first.
When do I need to order to get a specific month's edition?
There's a little mailbox magic to the timing. 💌
Order by the 19th → you'll receive the upcoming month's edition.
Order after the 19th → you'll receive the edition for the month after next.
For example:
Order by May 19 → June's edition
Order May 20 –June 19 → July's edition
Order June 20–July 19 → August's edition
The 19th is the magic cutoff. ✨
Once the cutoff passes, that month's edition moves to Catch-Up Mail. So if you missed June, you can still snag it separately while supplies last.
Can I choose which edition I receive?
Not for new subscriptions.
Your subscription starts with the upcoming month's edition based on when you order.
But if there's a previous edition you're dying to get your hands on, don't worry...
That's what Catch-Up Mail is for.
What if I want a previous edition?
You can totally go back for it.
Previous editions are available as Catch-Up Mail while supplies last.
Catch-Up Mail is $13 per edition and ships separately (free shipping), so you don't have to wait for the next monthly mailing.
Basically: a little Post & Pencil time travel.
Can I buy just one without subscribing?
Yep!
The 1-month option is a one-and-done kind of deal. 💌 Think of it as your little “try before you commit” moment. Get one month of happy mail, see if it makes your mailbox ridiculously happy, and then decide if you want more.
No commitment.
No auto-renewal.
Just one ridiculously cute envelope headed your way.
Where do you ship?
Right now, Post & Pencil ships within the United States only.
International editions may happen someday. For now, I'm keeping things a little closer to home.
When does my envelope ship?
Post & Pencil mail goes out the 20th of each month.
Then it's off to your mailbox to cause a little happiness. If the 20th falls on a Sunday or Holiday, envelopes will be mailed out the next business day.

Each month, I write a horoscope for one specific sign, leaning into its personality, quirks, and energy because your cosmic nudge shouldn’t feel like the same generic horoscope everyone else is reading.
So, your horoscope is tailored to your particular flavor of cosmic chaos. ✨
It’s meant for entertainment, encouragement, and a little something fun to read with your coffee.
And please, for the love of the stars, do not quit your job because your horoscope told you to.
Is everything hand-drawn?
Yes, the original art and Post & Pencil illustrations are created by me.
Every month is designed to feel like a little piece of personal, creative happy mail, not something that fell out of a subscription box factory.
What if I need to cancel or pause my subscription?
No hard feelings. 💌
You can cancel or pause your 3, 6, or 12-month subscription anytime right from your account:
- Log in to your Post & Pencil account.
- Select Profile.
- Choose Subscriptions.
- Click on the subscription you’d like to change.
- Select Cancel or Pause and follow the prompts.

If you're cancelling, I'll be sad to see you go.

What if my happy mail doesn't arrive?
No problem! 💌 Sometimes the mail decides to take the scenic route. If your edition doesn't arrive, just email me at hello@postandpencil.com and I'll send out a replacement edition. We’ll get that happy mail headed your way!
💌 Can I combined my best-friend gift subscription and my order on the same order?
We love the idea of a little happy-mail date with your bestie! 💌 Unfortunately, our checkout can only ship everything in one order to one address.
So if you’re ordering a subscription for yourself and a gift subscription for a friend, you’ll need to place two separate orders: one with your address and one with your friend’s.
That way, your happy mail goes to you, and your friend’s happy mail goes straight to their mailbox. ✨
